New Knowva Reads: Famous Places to Explore

Knowva Reads continues to grow, with three new audio stories added to the Landmarks collection. These latest Reads focus on famous landmarks from history and nature, giving children more ways to explore the world through listening as well as reading.

Each Read is written for children aged 4 to 11, using clear language, a calm tone, and carefully structured explanations that make big ideas easier to understand.

What’s new in Knowva Reads?

This update introduces audio Reads for three well-known places that often spark curiosity and questions.

Stonehenge

A mysterious stone circle that has stood in England for thousands of years. This Read explores who might have built it, how the stones were moved, and why Stonehenge still fascinates people today.

The Colosseum

An enormous Roman arena where crowds once gathered to watch events and games. Children learn how it was built, what happened inside, and why it remains one of the most famous buildings in the world.

The Grand Canyon

A vast natural landscape carved over millions of years. This Read explains how the canyon formed and why it is such an important place for understanding Earth’s history.

What are Knowva Reads?

Knowva Reads are audio versions of selected encyclopaedia content, created for moments when children want to listen rather than read. They work well at bedtime, during quiet time, or alongside on-screen articles so children can follow along while listening.

As with all Knowva content, Knowva Reads are ad-free, distraction-free, and designed to support calm, focused learning. More Reads will continue to be added over time - but don't forget we have informative videos for kids too!
