Discover the World with Knowva

Knowva has grown again!

I'm thrilled to announce that Knowva has expanded its library with over 200 new mini articles in our Countries category

Now, children can explore every corner of the globe from the comfort of their own home! Each article is designed with young readers in mind, using simple English and highlighting key terms in bold to support comprehension.

We've also added some non-countries that we think are worth knowing about!

A Child-Friendly Approach

Our country articles follow a consistent, accessible structure - perfect for helping learners feel confident! The Knowva app gives them a calm space to learn without the noise or distractions they might meet elsewhere online.

If you have ever been asked questions like 'Where is Bangladesh?', 'How many people live in Portugal?', 'What is the capital of Ghana?', or 'What language do they speak in Trinidad and Tobago?', then this new update is perfect for you!

Knowva now gives children a trusted place where they can explore these answers independently, with clear key facts written exclusively for young readers.

Learning Made Fun and Safe

As a former teacher, I know how important it is to have simple, age-appropriate explanations ready to hand. That was one of the reasons I created Knowva in the first place.

Parents and teachers can trust that every entry is written with care and accuracy. The articles are short, friendly, and ideal for both classroom use and independent learning.

Benefits for Curious Minds

These new articles help children understand more about the cultures, landscapes, and histories that make the world so varied.

When children discover places beyond their own surroundings, they start to make connections and ask even better questions. That curiosity is something we want to encourage.

Easy to Navigate!

You can now switch between Full Articles and Mini Articles using the tab at the top of the Countries page.

The Full Articles, introduced in last month’s update, give children a deeper look at each country with sections on culture, food, nature and specific landmarks.

The new Mini Articles focus on simple key facts such as location, population, capital city and languages, making them perfect for quick answers and early readers.

This lets learners choose the level of detail that suits them, all in the same safe space on Knowva.

More Than 400 Articles and Growing

We now have more than 400 articles in Knowva, and we have no plans to stop here!

Some of these mini articles will be built up to full articles in time - let us know on our social media channels if there's one you'd like to see explored in a bit more detail.

We've also got big plans for new articles and categories in the coming weeks... as well as an amazing festive special offer that the Elves are cooking up!
